Curiosity

I was always curious when the YouTubers I subscribed to, designed their own circuits, printed them and gave a shout-out to PCB way or JLC PCB. “How?” was my reaction to that, and then I googled about things and got to know, that designing and printing my own PCB is the coolest thing ever, the amount of space I can save by using it was mind-blowing. To think that the tools are free!, affordable!, and I can also have my PCB printed out in black. That’s what I wanted to hear, and now I’m all in, completely invested.

The Search

Where to learn? What particular tools to use? Resources? Data sheets? Are you saying that just drawing the circuit is not enough?! And what hell is Gerber? The information I was getting from the internet was too overwhelming, and where to start was the main question.

I searched and searched only to find my go-to channel for electronics had made a video on it, the video which I’m referring to is “Design and Build a PCB - SMD LED Learn electronics engineering” uploaded by The Engineering Mindset
